To reacquaint myself with Articulate Storyline, I embarked on a passion project: the development of a horse racing game. My vision for the final product was clear: a dynamic game where four horses would compete against each other in races with entirely randomized outcomes, ensuring each horse had an equal chance of winning every time.
To bring this concept to life, I had to utilize a variety of functions within Storyline including the formatting tools, format painter, motion paths, triggers, variables, states, and content importing. Each element played a crucial role in crafting an engaging and visually appealing gaming experience.
Throughout the development process, I found myself constantly problem-solving and tapping into my creativity to overcome various challenges. My past programming experience proved invaluable as I navigated the intricacies of Storyline and implemented triggers and variables. Each hurdle presented an opportunity for growth, expanding my skill set and deepening my understanding of the platform.
As the project neared completion, I reflected on its impact. Not only had I successfully reacquainted myself with Storyline, but I had also acquired new skills and insights along the way. This passion project served as an effective means of honing my abilities while reigniting my enthusiasm for e-learning development.
